Built about 1885 by the Pitkin family in the Arroyo Grande Valley the 14 room house was up for sale. Under the headline "Grand old lady seeks new lover" the story called this the Conrow house, after the second owners.
Can a South County historian help me out? Is this the Victorian behind Arroyo Grande High School on Valley Rd.?
The asking price for the house and lot was $95,000, with the adjoining 6.5 acres it was $120,000.
